Why planning matters for artists…

As you are fully aware being an artist isn’t just about writing and performing songs. There are campaigns to plan, deadlines to hit, and content to create. If you want to keep moving forward, a little bit of organisation goes a long way.

Some areas that benefit from planning:

  • Release campaigns (singles, EPs, albums)

  • Writing and co-writing schedules

  • Recording and production timelines

  • Gig bookings and festival applications

  • Social media and content planning

  • PR and press campaigns

  • Merch launches

When you’ve got these mapped out, you can stop juggling everything in your head and start focusing on the creative side again. The big question is, which tool should you use? If you are a paid subscriber keep reading for the low down on the tools I have used and the pros and cons of each!
